HSE(High Speed Engraving) Laser Systems

The High Speed Engraving Laser System is the newest gantry design from Kern Electronics & Lasers. The HSE model combines fast engraving speeds (150" per second) and consistent beam power and beam quality over the entire table top for laser cutting and laser engraving. The new gantry design develops 5G force of acceleration moving the laser optics across the table in less than 1 second. Resolutions from 50dpi up to 1200dpi are possible, the most common resolutions used are 300dpi and 600dpi. Please select a system below for additional information.

Cutting and engraving speeds are determined by the laser size, material being processed and the desired edge quality. Straight line cutting will be faster than small intricate cut patterns. Typical cutting speeds are from 6"/minute up to 600"/minute. Set the cutting speed and laser power easily by line colors in our KCAM laser software.

The HSE gantry design will cut wood, metal, plastic and other materials accurately and consistently. The design of this gantry maintains the same laser power and laser beam spot size over the entire table area. This is very important when engraving and cutting your materials.

The 7" deep vacuum table along with the aluminum honeycomb tabletop will exhaust smoke and debris from the cut material. All systems have a top vacuum located on the bottom of the gantry and in the gantry legs to exhaust the smoke and fumes when engraving. Each Kern laser engraver is equipped with a vacuum blower to exhaust the fumes and smoke from the vacuum table chamber to the outside or through a customer supplied fume extraction system.
