Titanium Cutting and Marking
Titanium has a low density and is a strong lustrous, corrosion-resistant metal. This "space age metal" used in a variety of industries is very cuttable with a Kern metal cutting machine. Without a nitrogen assist gas discoloration around the cut edge can occur. A high PSI of nitrogen should eliminate most of this discoloration.
A dark, consistent etch can be applied to the surface of this metal by using a oxygen assist gas. No marking spray is needed.
