Standard Full Gantry Laser Systems

The Standard Full Gantry table design from Kern Electronics & Lasers, Inc. offers a rugged table structure that will hold up to your demanding production schedules. The tight footprint of this model allows a 0" reach clearance for loading your material and removing your parts. Kern's Standard Laser Cutting and Engraving Systems use only one mirror, allowing easy adjustmend of the laser beam to the optics lens. This adjustment is done once at the factory and may not need to be adjusted again. Kern's Standard Laser Machines will maintain constant power over the entire table top as the laser is moved over the material with a fixed focus point.

Cutting speeds are determined by the laser size, material being cut and the desired edge quality. Straight line cutting will be faster than small intricate cut patterns. Typical cutting speeds are from 6"/minute up to 600"/minute. Set the cutting speed and the laser power by line colors in our KCAM software to control the speed and depth of the cut.

The 7" deep vacuum table along with the aluminum honeycomb tabletop will exhaust smoke and debris from the cut material. All standard full gantry systems have a top vacuum located on the safety shield mounted around the laser nozzle to exhaust the smoke and fumes while engraving. Each laser cutter or laser engraving system is supplied with a vacuum blower to exhaust the fumes and smoke from the vacuum table chamber to the outside or through a customer supplied filter system.
